Belgium born Fredric De Backer known as Fred Baker has the title: Tune of the week. Yes, I know it's only Tuesday but trust me, it's that good. He became well known of his trance anthem in 1996 Y-TRAXX - Mystery Land, which he produced. His other productions was played by many many DJs like Paul Oakenfold, Dj Tiesto, Pete Tong. He produced many remixes for Praga Khan, Todd Terry, Timo Maas, Blank and Jones. So yes the guy has been around and now here is his latest "A new life on earth" 8 minutes and I promise, you won't regret it. I can hear this song is played in clubs just by itself. Starts fairly heavy as it should, no teasing but then it builds and builds, and then everything comes together and everything just makes sense, that's the point when summer hits you and you are in happy place my friend. Electro heaven.

R.I.P. George Jones
On April 26th we lost another legend. George Jones died in Nashville at age 81. His voice will be dearly missed.Who didn't get goose bumps listening to "He stopped loving her today"? Here is one of his lesser known songs. The story is based on a true event, since he had a drinking problem his second wife hid all the keys to the cars. The only thing left was a lawnmower which he drove on the highway to get to the bar 8 miles from his house.

Discovery of the week
The Cave Singers
The Pacific Northwest... Ax men, The ring, grunge music, The Cave Singers. These four guys are bringing you some good-old indie/folk rock, Seattle style. Listening to "Naomi" their new album, just makes you want to drive thru some mountains and fog. But not in the "Why I have to drive thru this" way, in a good way... Then comes the last four track; they get on it (except maybe the "Northern lights") I mean the tunes are feet movingly upbeat. During these tracks you should already be searching for the nearest local hang out with live music, and anyway who wants to drive in the fog that long.

So close yet so far, yes I'm talking about our Sun
The Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) was launched on 2011 February, since then this is what it has seen. It will be up there for another two years. It's well worth watching.

Jeremy Wade still got it..
I can't pass it by how awesome Jeremy Wade is. In case you don't know who the guy is, he has a show on Animal Planet called River Monsters. He roams around the world and fishes. But not just any fish, he goes after river monsters. If you thought swimming in the ocean is too dangerous, watch an episode and you won't even want to drink water.
What amazes me about him is, that he keeps his cool all the time. But in this episode - Season 5 Episode 3 - I don't think I've ever heard him curse that much. He went after a monster tarpon. He lost a fish last minute, then he got tangled in the branches. I thought the camera is beeping because it needs recharging, but it was him . Of course he finally caught it. A "small" I'd say 7 foot tarpon. If you have a chance tune-in next Sunday and watch it, 'til then here's one of my favorite part of his work.21 April, 2013
So much win... we got lucky
Thomas Bangalter, and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo or as everybody knows them Daft Punk, the french Dj duo is back... finally.
They never really disappeared tho, I mean who doesn't remember -and it's a lesser known fact- Fedde le Grands "So much love" which he sampled from Thomas Bangalter. They also appeared on the soundtrack of TRON:Legacy in 2010, but their last album "Alive" came out back in 2007.
So yes it was about time. This time they got together with Pharrell Williams - from N*E*R*D- for their first single "Get lucky". Their fourth album "Random Access Memory" is coming out on May 21st. So get lucky and get it.

Hey all or as they say it in the south hey y'all.
Every beginning is hard or at least that's what they say, but when you hear the first tune I picked out you realize it doesn't have to be that way. So for start we are going back to the classics, some funk, just to cover the basics. So here it is from 1976 Johnny Guitar Watson's Superman lover. Make sure you like me on Facebook and follow me on Twitter. There will be no regrets I promise so stay tuned.

About us
As the name suggests on this blog don't look for anything else, just pure awesomeness. We will try to cover everything from music to astrophysics, mostly what we're interested in, but don't worry it's interactive, but more of it later. But nothing in a serious way or maybe rarely.
One good way to explain: the idea is imagine you are going out with your quite friends, you want some conversation topics, you read the blog... booom next thing you know your friends are pretty talkative. Having a date booom... you know something to say if the conversation stops. You'll even find weekly recipe ideas because who doesn't like to eat.
As you can tell, from the look of the blog it is far from ready, but this will change, so right now if you are already here bare with us, focus on the content. And when it's done it won't be nothing, but pure awesomeness.
You probably realized we said we and not I . Well our team consist of some great characters - make sure you check them out on Facebook, Twitter, and so on. Like them, follow them, share them, and of course the blog.
We got dj maQwet, he will deliver the fine music choices, most of the time way before the release date, yeah he is that great. We could say that music from all over the world, and we will say it, but mostly from Europe and the States.
We also have Gunther and Fritz, the two euro-trash technospecialst turists from Europe, who are just lost in the States of 'Mericuh. They don't have a clue what a U-turn is, why the restaurant staff hates them for tipping them half a dollar after a $150 meal. Or how come nobody understands them when they are looking for a flat, while looking at places to live.
That's our starting cast, hopefully as we grow - I'm sure and we will and its safe to say so - more characters will jump on board.
Besides music and awesomeness, you will find fun stories -whether it will be about traveling or drinking or both or neither- of course we will not be cheap on memes either. There will be recipes, news, critics, TV, everyday happenings, and so on. We will also feature winners and loosers of the week. Most of the posts could end with ... of the week and it probably will. Obviously all of them are genuine wherever we can, what is not, we will mention it.
But most importantly, we are interactive, we care about opinions, critics, ideas, anything. If you have anything to say, recommend,or something you are interested in, or want to see more of, feel free, and let one or all of us know. We will do our best to provide as many ways to stay in touch with us as possible. So read it, like it, and share it, but mostly have fun with it and enjoy.
